As we approach the end of term, a number of themed events are taking place at Nottingham Academy. These include Pride Week and Culture Day, both of which offer students some optional opportunities to take part.

Pride Week will run from Monday 30th June to Friday 4th July, featuring a range of small activities throughout the week. These may include badge sales, baking, and other themed items. Students can choose to take part in Rainbow Day on Friday 4th July, by adding rainbows to their usual school uniform. There is also a baking competition open to staff and students, as well as a Pride-themed disco for Year 8 and 9 students after school on the same day.

Culture Day will follow the week after, on Friday 11th July. Students are invited to wear traditional cultural dress should they wish to, as a way to mark and reflect the diverse community of our academy.
