Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011. The purpose of this funding is to address the attainment gap between vulnerable pupils and others.
Schools/Academies are allocated Pupil Premium funding for children from low-income families who were eligible for free school meals or who have been looked after continuously for more than six months.
We are free to spend pupil premium as we see fit however we must demonstrate how this funding has a positive and clear impact on attainment for those pupils who are entitled.
