Executive Principal

I am extremely proud to be the Executive Principal of the Nottingham Academy, sponsored by the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust.

My role as Executive Principal is to take complete responsibility for the leadership and management of the Nottingham Academy.

Our ethos at the Nottingham Academy is simple and clear. We expect to teach our pupils to the highest of standards, to support them to be successful, to help them move on to higher education or high quality employment and to keep them safe and happy whilst on our Academy sites.

In terms of behaviour, uniform and Academy standards we are very traditional. We expect pupils to wear our full uniform, attend well, behave appropriately and work hard. We also expect pupils to take part in the many extra curricular activities available.

Pupils will see a lot of me during the school day. I will spend a great deal of time around the Academy sites, visiting lessons and ensuring standards of teaching and learning are exceptionally high.

Working together we can continue to ensure the Nottingham Academy stays an outstanding organisation.
