I am delighted to inform you that the Nottingham Academy is once again top of the league tables for the Local Authority, for the value added we give to our pupils by the end of KS4.

This combined with our outstanding results from KS1 and KS2 is a testament to the hard work of all staff and pupils and the range of support teams who enable us to provide this high quality education.

The KS5 results are equally impressive. We are third only to the High schools for boys and for girls in the highest average point score per examination.

These results are even more impressive when taken in context.

Many of the pupils who joined the Academy in year seven and did not attend our primary phase, have extremely depressed KS2 scores.  Throughout KS3 there is a focus on rapidly improving Literacy and numeracy skills, in addition to ensuring that all pupils are challenged to meet their targets. This enables pupils to make the progress needed to be prepared for the start of their GCSE courses.
