Admissions to the Academy for September 2013
Pupils are admitted at the start of, and during, our four main stages:
- nursery (ages 3 - 5)
- primary reception (age 5)
- secondary year 7 (age 11)
- secondary post-16 (age 16)
Pupils on roll in the primary part of the Academy have an automatic place in the secondary part of the Academy.
Admission numbers:
a) 180 part time or 90 full time places - nursery
b) 90 full time places - reception
c) 480* full time places - year 7 (including 90 pupils automatically transferring from the Academy's primary provision)
d) 480 full time places - post 16 (including all year 11 pupils at the Academy who choose to stay on for their post-16 education)
* 300 on our Greenwood Road site and 180 on our Ransom Road site.
To apply for a place at the Nottingham Academy
For admission to our nursery provision parents should contact the Primary Reception on our Greenwood Road site on 0115 822 9696 to apply for a place.
For admission to primary reception and to secondary year 7, in the year preceding admission, parents should apply using Nottingham City Council's Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme.
For admission in September 2013, these forms should be returned by 15 January 2013 for primary reception and by midday on 31 October 2012 for secondary year 7. To apply on-line visit: www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/admissions
